Photographer's Note
This wooden walkway stretches for miles on the Kushiro Marsh. The start is close to the Onnenai information centre. There are various routes one can take too, so if you don't have a plan, remember where you turned right, left etc. or you might have problems getting back to the information centre and car park. Either side of the walkway is obviously marshland. I don't know if you'd sink far as bears sometimes walk to this point, but there's a thin layer of water all around, so you'd definitely get very wet if you fell over the edge.
This was taken shortly before 6:00AM before the mist cleared. Definitely not a great shot, but it's important for my travelogue of the week in Hokkaido, currently under preparation.
