We were in Buffalo on a Saturday morning, wandered the Broadway Fillmore area between 9:00 and 11:00. The weather was gloomy and maybe that had something to do with it, but we were struck by how completely deserted the streets were. You'll laugh, but I don't think this place is without a charm of its own. And you can see its former grandeur in many of the old edifices. The residential neighbourhoods also look like they were once lovely to live in. Who lives here now? Can they see what an outsider sees? Does this neighbourhood have a chance?
