Photographer’s Note

Another one from my home town.

The town of Telč used to be a water-fortress. That means that the historical core of the town (the castle, the square and a few adjoining streets) was surrounded by bodies of water - two man-made lakes and a moat. This is one of the lakes. On the right, you can see the only surviving remnants of the town walls, peeking out from behind trees.

Hello Dagmar,
The buildings and the trees reflect beautiful in the lake but I mostly like the three towers and their wonderful reflections.
Also the smaller strip of land between the splendid sky and the same coloured water.

Hi Dagmar! Very beautiful picture! I liked the cleanliness the colours but particularly the landscape of waters of towers and houses with the nature reflecting in waters a likeable symmetry that I want to have in my collection with title "symmetry"

the reflection on the water is excellent and bright.

Wow Dasha, congratulations on this photo. I feel like I'm there in Telc with you. The reflections are like glass and although the main subject is at a distance, the depth of field is stunning. I have only seen a bit of the CR and these views were not what I saw - we were heading into winter when we arrived and our van was falling apart by then so it was time to get home!!. I think this is a excellent vantage point but just maybe deserves more zoom to show this town in even more glory. Beautiful tones and reflections in this capture and how one side is shrouded in good light and the other in shadow.
