Photographer’s Note

Ostuni, a city of art, is surely one of the most beautiful places in Puglia. It's situated on the last appendages Murge (Apulia hills). The whiteness of the buildings that make up the historic center is due to lime, which for centuries has been used for painting the walls of the ancient village. White City is another name of Ostuni.
I hope you like it, good week to everyone.

Deep blue against white... A good recipe !
Your tight framing is perfectly thought to get a strong graphical effect.
The force of this composition is based on the two colours.

pure alle canne fumarie riesci a dare una dignità, e che dignità...guarda qui che POV e che gioco di luci degno del miglior cubismo, tonalità fredde, affascinanti. Un altro capolavoro.

mi fa piacere che ricominci a guardare in alto, verso tetti e camini ... =)
(mi sta venendo un'allergia ai riflessi, ahahaha)
mi piace il fatto che hai stretto sui comignoli e mi piacciono molto questi colori ipersaturi, peccato solo che il bianco della pietra ha assunto un colore bluastro - non se e' voluto o se e' un risultato del PP.
ho provato a toglierlo un po' nel WS ma sul JPG e' difficile fare un lavoro pulito, con il RAW forse sarebbe stato piu' facile.

ciao Giorgio,
la pietra bianca, tipica di Ostuni, e' qui esaltata nel contrasto con l'azzurro del cielo.
Avrei fatto un po' di pulizia di fili e paletti per lasciare l'attenzione concentrata su quello che e' il titolo dello scatto.
Ottimo il POV dal basso.

Buongiorno Giorgio,
io credo che una delle più belle località della Puglia sia Alberobello con i sui bei trulli bianchi e grigi.
De gustibus!

Qui comunque mi piace molto il contrasto cromatico tra il bianco dei muri dell'edificio e il blu cobalto del cielo.

Belle nella composizione le cinque canne fumarie o comignoli che dir si voglia.

J'aime cette composition minimaliste avec les cheminées. Le blanc et le bleu font penser à certaines îles grecques. Beau travail à partir de choses très simples comme des cheminées !

bellissimo il contrasto tra i camini ed il cielo blu, forse troppo azzurro ha invaso anche il bianco, se il file era in raw potevi lavorare con il canale e pulire il bianco, comunque mi piace

Ciao Giorgio,dopo che ho visto la Roma di Clementi,stasera mi viene difficile commentare le altre foto,comunque la tua e' molto bella,specialmente l'abbinamento con la cornice il contrasto fortissimo ma non fastidioso del bianco dei camini col blu del cielo....complimenti...chissa' cosa ci stai preparando per la nr.100..ehhe...per adesso buona settimana,LUCIANO

Graphically, it works very well, thanks to the clever POV you have found and to the minimalism of the colors. Although I prefer the version of papera, which has cleared the wall from their strong blue hues, it makes the image appears warmer .

el azul del cielo tan saturado funciona muy bien para crear un fuerte contraste cromático con los tonos blancos de las casas, y la geometría de las chimeneas tiene un magnífico grafismo.
El resultado tiene mucha fuerza y es muy atractivo.

a parte la lieve dominante azzurra sui muri dovuta forse alla saturazione, l'immagine ha un'efficacia grafica straordinaria.
Sei riuscito a riquadrare magistralmente, oltre alle ieratiche ciminiere, i volumi di questa nostra architettura spontanea, che sono degni della migliore tradizione cubista.

causa meeting romano che mi ha tenuto lontano tre giorni da TE, arrivo in ritardo a commentarti questa bellissima immagine, ma sono in tempo per dirti che hai giocato stupendamente con la prospettiva e le forme geometriche, creando un bel contrasto tra i muri bianchi ed il blu del cielo limpidissimo. A vederla sembra semplice, ma non è da tutti avere il tuo buon colpo d'occhio per capire che da una normale casa si può tirare fuori una piacevole immagine come questa. Complimenti, caro amico!

bella foto, con un bel grafismo accentuato dalla V formata dai comignoli. Mi sembra che l'ipersaturazione del blu abbia lasciato una dominante sui muri che attenua leggermente il bel contrasto di colore.
Ma forse a te piace di più così... gran bel colpo d'occhio.

Che splendido gioco d'angoli e che occhio ! Mi piace molto questa foto fatta con tre colori dominanti (vuoto, blu e nero).
Bisogneva vedere questi camini ed arrivare a sfruttarli, ciò che hai perfettamente fatto! Hai trovato il perfecto PDV, ciò che non è mai semplice quando si cerca di prendere costruzioni in altezza.
