Photographer’s Note
Traben-Trarbach Tor - Gate to Traben-Trarbach. The little village is located on the river Mosel about 25km northeast of Bernkastel-Kuse. The Brigde Gateway was build in 1899 by Bruno Möhring, a German archtect and designer.

Hallo Achim!
Ja, das ist Deutschland! ;-))
Mir gefallen die vielen Einzelheiten, die man hier entdecken kann. Die Sonne hat Dir hier geholfen, das Gebäude nahezu dreidimensional abzubilden. Da sollte man mal wieder hin ...
Grüße aus dem feucht-grauen Westfalen!

Hi Achim,
The point of view is showing the details and colors of the towers at the beginning of the bridge. It is also taking my eyes through the arch toward the houses and the hill which is giving depth to the composition. The afternoon light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Achim,
This is a fine shot of this bridge/gate. Your composition is nice showing this structure from a good angle that gives the scene depth. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness and DOF. I only wish you had not clipped off the top of the spire of the tower.
TFS,
Asa

Hi Achim,
You have the optimal angle for this magnificient gate of the bridge between Traben and Trarbach. Direction of light is excellent too emphasizing those forms.
I have something similar from my recent visit but on cloudy weather and white sky background it's not worth showing.

Hello Achim,
This city gate is massive and superb. You profited from a beautiful exposure to the light to emphasize it and that enables us to appreciate many interesting architectural details. Well done Achim.
With all my friendships and a very good evening,

Superb architecture there, I love the level of detail and the integration of this monument in everyday life.
I might have suggested a POV abit further in order not to crop the left and top, but I trust you did the best that was possible under the circumstances.
Great composition and colors.
