Photographer’s Note
These anachronic houseboats in the foreground - some of them in pristine condition are beautiful objects - are located all along the Seine. Some are converted into restaurants, some as guest houses and some privately owned.
It might sound romantic to live in the earth of Paris on a boat, but I guess one must have a very deep sleep or excellent ear plugs; that's the price to pay to have such a great view.

Truly superb shot Andre! Congrats!
The colors are awesome, the exposure- perfect, the composition, strong and eye catching (although It would be great if the tower were exactly at a third).
Overall brilliant shot!
Well done!

Hello, Andre,
what a unique take on the Eiffel Tower. Beautiful 'blue hour' colors, marvelous lighting, good sharp detail. I like what the slow shutter speed did with the road traffic and, too, the star effect on the lights across the river. The vertical framing suits it perfectly. Beautiful shot! Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly

Gorgeous photo, Andre,
Such a long exposure time and the results are spectacular! You have demonstrated your aptitude for incredible light management and execution with this stunning composition. The illuminated Tower exudes charm set against the blue and violet backdrop, and the brilliant colors shining on the Seine's surface are very eye-catching. Your long exposure is especially well implemented for achieving the orange and red streaks of light on the road at the near bank - how beautiful! This is one of the most exceptionally attractive and well composed images of the Eiffel Tower that I've ever seen. Marvelous work (as always) and thank you for sharing your talent and ability with the TE community. We draw so much inspiration from your gallery.

Hello André,
I think that this is quite a romantic view of the Eiffel tower, as if we are arriving from somewhere and getting a glimpse of the eiffel for the first time and the twinkling lights from a distance shining accross the water before actually reaching it, and if I would see it from here I would think to myself, wow now I have arrived in Paris. Love the colours from the blue's to the purples to the yellows to the reds. The motion blur of the car lights on the curving road in the foreground gives a good dynamic to the shot as well and is a nice busy contrast against the calmness of the river. Vertical composition was a great choice and everything fits perfecly within the frame.

Hello André,
This is a superb night shot of the River Seine created by a very slow exposure. The converging tail lights gives a sense of depth. Well done!

Bravo.

Hello André,
Beautiful light in this photo, and the red lines so well opposing the illuminated tower. The blue sky and water refelctions add to the charm as well as the houseboat story.

Excellent quality, and if the subject and POV are a bit cliched, the light is indeed fantastic!

Haaa, Paris!
Félicitations!

hi Andre
I never saw Paris like this. Good framing, good use of a tripod and long exposure to get the red lights lines, and good time to catch the picture (THE blue hour).
Hats off

Hi Andre,
Not really a whole lot for me to say here. The pinkish tone really adds the essence of the romance to this beautiful city. Technically a perfect blue hour shot of the romantic city of light.

Hi Andre,
This is a spectaular one of this famous landmark. The light trails really add something special to the scene and help balance the composition. This makes me want to get out and try a few night shots like this. I would certainly love to visit Paris again. Excellent work.
