Photographer’s Note

I caught myself when I feel my energy runs down and I´m in need to “recharge my battery”,or simply I want to be alone, I often walk to the area of Prague, my native town, which is called Nový Svět - New World. Located only a few hundred meters from Prague Castle and Hradčany with overcrowded streets full of tourists, Nový Svět is surprisingly quiet and pitoresque, thanks to tiny delightful houses with ivy framed windows, narrow lanes paved by granite block or old streetlights. As a little suburb of Hradčany is first mentioned in 14th century. Soon was integrated inside the town's fortifications. Although Nový Svět once was poor district, domicile of castle workers, the houses are now very attractive and expensive.
