Photographer’s Note

This is my second photo taken in the Inle Lake. It was taken on the day of the "Festival of the Five Buddhas", when five golden statues of Buddha are taken by boat from village to village - that's a big feast that takes place in the lake every year. It was also the day of the market, so there were lots of people moving around on the boats. This one was taken on the same day as the previous one, but in the afternoon, just before some rain start to fall.

Infelizmente, nunca tive a oportunidade de visitar esta área e tenho muita pena.
A tua foto está lindíssima apesar da tonalidade demasiado azul que a presenta. Penso que uma simples aplicação de "auto levels" no photoshop teria melhorado imenso a imagem.

Anabela,
o título combinou bem com a boa mostra do céu envolto em nuvens.
Os passageiros do pequeno barco denotam humildade e beleza com esses chapéus típicos do local.

A wonderful atmosphere and great depth with these clouds.

Uma bela imagem, bastante agradável e interessante!
Uma composição simples, porém muito eficiente, com resultados visuais bem bonitos! As nuvens no céu bem reais, o detalhe do pequeno barco com os habitantes locais, a vegetação com cores bem naturais e o lindo reflexo, tudo colabora para o sucesso desse seu trabalho!

Olá Anabela, antes de visitar as tuas capelinhas tenho de me encher com Myanmar. Estas pirogas são sempre irresistíveis para mim e tens aqui tens um excelente quarteto para retratar a vida no lago. Aqueles chapéus são sempre um bom detalhe. Apanhaste uns reflexos bonitos e um belo show de nuvens no céu.

I have loved Inle lake! I think in the month of september they are not too many tourists...The menacing sky combined with the luminosity has created a beautiful atmosphere! Love to see these people on their traditional boat, the vegetation and the hills fading in the far.

Very nice scene with good frame quality. Interesting reflections on the water.
Only one thing : please try to save your file close to 300 Ko instead 65 Ko with less JPEG compression to give more Image definition.

What a splendid moody photograph which really captures the spectrum of the approaching rain perfectly. The clouds and the light warn of the imminent downpour. You almost can feel the wind. Colors are vivid and bold. Also I like the reflection of the boat and the occupants in the lake. Well done

This is a lovely picture, quite different from what we see from Myanmar. The boat with the four people are of course the main attraction, but what's no less attractive is the reflection and the 3D clouds above. Wonderful capture in low light!
