Photographer’s Note
Yes, St. Coloman Church in Schwangau again and in the background the famed castle Schloss Neuschwanstein.
I know that you've seen a lot of shots of this beautiful church recently, but after Mark's fantastic evening shot, I thought I'd show you a different kind of evening view that I took a few weeks earlier while Didier was visiting.
The light is not nearly as wonderful as in Mark's photo, no snow in the mountains yet either - but so peaceful, don't you think? It makes me feel so calm and safe. "Heile Welt", I'd say in Germany
For more information about the church itself, please go here.
Have a safe and peaceful weekend friends!

Hi Linda. Divine light and blessed atmosphere. A church somehow seems right in such a wonderful place. I wouldn't be surprised if the congregation sang their hymns with full voice in appreciation. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Linda, another beautiful POV of this amazing church. The mountains behind it are stunning and have been rendered beautifully by you with an impressive DOF. I also like the rich colours of green and blue and to top it off, the sky is stunning. Congrats, and enjoy your weekend, Lisa

Hi Linda, A delightful setting. This is certainly a beautiful part of the world. I have been in this area so many times that it feels like home. I believe I would have made a crop on both sides of the shot, horizontal. It would have lifted the Schloss a bit forward and given it a little more distinctiveness. OC, whenever I see anyone else's shot I always want to make it over. Ha ha. As for serenity in the area, anything from Fuessen to Neuschwanstein is so touristy that it is sad. I remember this area over 50 years ago or longer. Cheers. Roger

Hey Linda..initially i use to connect fairly well with nature and it used to show in my own work..there was a sense of satisfaction..maybe because of my restricted work life etc..a getaway is hard to find..i connect more with people and daily life..
what is see here is myself commenting on something that visually makes me feel good...the soft contours in the distant...the manmade structure to add a diversion...i like this alot my friend
the slant is a bit nagging but could be corrected..

Hallo Linda,
Super Bild.
Von mir auch ein wunderbares Wochenende

Hi, Linda,
that truly is a beautiful and peaceful scene. The light is spectacular and the composition is perfect. The church itself is wonderful, but when you add the mountains as a backdrop it becomes awesome. That is simply wonderful! Many thanks and warmest wishes,

Liebe Linda! Barbara.

Hello Linda,
Another inspirational shot, the type of image they create for board rooms of large companies! The composition, colors and resolution, along with the note are first rate.
Warm regards from Virginia.

Hi Linda,
The lighting really makes this image appealing, maybe too dark for some but realistic, and the mountain layers dominating the background with dramatic clouds.
Good job,
Ray
PS: I got lost in this valley last spring after touring Neuschwanstein.

Hi Linda,
That is such a stunning location with this backdrop of the mountain and the castle nested in its heights. The church is also very impressive in design and stature. You have composed the scene well and and the clouds and light filtering through them that adds to the mood. You live near these surroundings? Regards Steve.

Hello Linda,
des photos de plus en plus belles et de la magie qui augmente à chaque prise de vue proposée. Ici, les lumières très sépciales, bien retravaillées, du charme pur et de la séduction totale.
Mes meilleurs compliments.

Hi Linda,
Wow, the light is just getting better and better. Sometimes light changes for the worst, looks like your little meeting is a good one. I think I like this one even better than your last, even though the last one is very drammatic as well, but this one is much brighter and give more cheerfulness and the sky is really wonderful with clouds illuminated in golden light. Beautiful composition. There may be a slight tilt in the landscape or just the perspective, but that is really minor.
Thanks
Way
