Photographer’s Note
Taken on the second morning of a 5 day trek in the Annapurna foothills. When we awoke we were completely clouded in. Then the clouds briefly lifted and this unforgettable view appeared. Left to right can be seen Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Machapuchare (Fishtail)(6998m).
This will be my last posting for a few weeks. I am off on a journey to another land. My camera is packed. I will be back.

Hello Marlene. If the clouds move on, it's good for the campers. However, the landscape picture is very beautiful. The view is far into the distance. The colored picture elements in the foreground and the fresh blue in the background is a good contrast. Very nice. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Marlene,Lots of details to view and explore in this scene.I am curious as to what crop is growing on the terraces, with so much going on in the foreground the mountains and cloud in the valley give a more restful view.Your scanning technique is producing excellent results.Have a good trip,is there a prize guessing the destination ?. Thanks Tom.

Hi Marlene,
such n exciting view of this land. The colours of your production is so lovely and rich. The clarity is superbs. I like the tents very much ,well contrasted with green grass. But most of all the mountains are so beautiful and fascinating.
You have presented it brilliantly in its elegance and details.

Hi Marlene,
Yep, that's a great shot. Right place at the right time. As they say, "I'd rather be lucky than good".
Wonderful colours, the tents stand out so well against the green.
A brilliant shot.

Peter

Hello Marlene,
The times I have seen the snow-covered peaks of Himalaya on clear days it has been the most magnificent sight imaginable. I can understand your feelings when these clouds lifted. There's a wonderful contrast between the lush green foreground and the unwelcoming mountains. Lots of nice little red dots in the foreground too.
I wish you a pleasant journey and hope to see your fresh photos soon.
Kind regards,
Gert

Ah,Nepal :)
Great country for turists and very photogenic. I saw Annapurna range with my eyes and I know the feeling when you stay in front of these mountains. Magical view which you captured and showed in your picture. The only thing which could be better is the colour of the sky, the blue seems to weak. I tried to do some adjustmens in PS and you can see the result. Hope you like it.
