Photographer’s Note

Lough Corrib is the Republic of Ireland's largest lake. It is located in the west of Ireland and contains over 300 islands. The island you can see on this pic is called Inchagoill, is located in the middle of the lough and has the second-oldest existing Christian monuments in Europe. Lough Corrib is one of Europe’s best spots for salmon and trout angling, the principal activity on shore and boat. This beautiful lake is also ideal for boat cruises and angling.

ja myslalem ze Corrib to jest w Galway ale widocznie siega dalej na polnoc do Mayo.
Eh tyle jeszcze interesujacych miejsc jest u Was na dzikim zachodzie no ale tego roku nie udalo mi sie za wiele po tamtej stronie zobaczyc, tylko jedna wycieczka do Mayo, za krotko.
Bardzo fajna kompozycja -chmurka ladnie symetrycznie uchwycona nad polwyspem. Bardzo ladne chyba jesienne juz kolory.

That's a very interesting and truly beautiful photograph!
Excellent choices: pov and vertical format!
Other outstanding features: sharpness, exposure, dof and saturated colors!
The composition is a real highlight: effective, with quite attractive visual results!
The wonderful clouds in the blue sky on top of this image goes together with the lower part of it so perfectly and magnificently!

Hey Pawel,

I havent been up in Mayo, but from the looks of it it is just as nice as other places in Ireland. Quite an amazing sight, and composition-wise .. wisely captured. The three layers, sky, ground, water compose a brilliant and picturesque beauty, words can not describe, and eyes are enough anyway. The picture is sharp and clean, colorful etc etc. Kudos on the frame too. Just another top notch piece for your gallery. GG.

Jednak wspaniale wykorzystales te "anomalia pogodowe", ktore ostatnio wystapily w IR w postaci bezdeszczowej pogody. Fantazyjne niebo i przepiekne kolory. Bardzo ladnie zbudowales sobie kadr a chmurka tu wleciala jak na zamowienie. Piekne zdjecie do druku. Well done!

This is a beautifully composed nature shot, with the water "wrapping around" the island and the big cloud hanging above it. I like the angle of the pier, as well, and your choice of the vertical format. And the colours are perfect. TFS Dasha

Beutiful place. Irland have a very peculiar vegetation common almost all country. I belive it caused by the size of the country.
