Life inspired her...Life overpowered her...
Her thoughts...she couldn't keep within...
She wrote...
She read it...others read it too...
But the written word is supposed to be forgotten, is it not ??
And so it was lost..at the shores...it disappeared...
Life rejuvenates...Gives a second chance...."

"verba volant, scripta manent" :)
whatever is written there, this image made me sad, because it is handwritten, and at least for the effort paid for the writing of it, i felt sad.
did you read any lines from it??

Hi, Sayeed.
Curious, unusual composition.
Something of unreal in this lettres abandoned in the beach...Full of poetry.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Hello Sayeed,
Excellent focus with many details on the sand and the wet pages, a very well chosen POV, very good clarity, sharpness and lovely colors.
Kind regards, Vasilis.

Hi Sayeed,
I like very much your composition here, with the tight frame that gathers the notebook and the sea, the crisp texture of the sand. A melancholic comtemplation, very dramatic effect, almost romantic. And the colors are attractive. Congratulations.

Hi Sayeed,
what a nice one! You really proved a good eye here, sometimes it´s the small things that make for a good shot. Everything looks very good here, perfect placement of the paper and great focus here. Great one, hats off for your creativity!
Take care

Hi Sayeed,
the poem is very suitable in here. The photo can be seen as the translation for what you have writen. Lucky you were to find that element, clever you were composing like that. Love the depth with the focus on what she wrote :) Great job!

Carlos

hello Sayeed,
I like a lot the link with your previous post, the people on the beach indeed seem to be searching for something, may be exactly this unique book. I like a lot what you have done here, the low point of view and shallow depth of field work nicely to immediately focus the attention on the weathered pages of the book, the viewer is compelled to look more closely to see what's on the pages. moody, contemplative shot, I like it a lot.
best,
Kristine

You're a poet Sayeed, definitely!
Not always easily understandable indeed but a poet
A poor book left over on the beach or coming from the sea, who knows. Or Maybe your poetries after all that you abandonned
have a nice evening

Very good framing here, and also superb focus I can almost read what is written (provided of course I could understand your language...), the Dof is well chosen to have the main elements stand out
Have a nice day JY

hi sayeed,
I was browsing your gallery and I swear that from the thumbnail of this picture I really could not understand what the stranded object was... so it's a surprise to see these torn and wet pages all curled up ashore. the shallow depth of field is the only choice here, and the composition and disposition of the elements is spot-on.
have a good evening,
cris

A very evocative image Sayeed. I really like the depth-of-field. I think the curves are pushed to the max also. Nonetheless - inspiring and thought provoking. Regards, TW

Hi, Sayeed -
A fascinating composition with a lot to say. I'm a little uncomfortable (aesthetically speaking) with the way the main object crowds the edges of the frame, but I do like the use of DoF and the minimalism.
Best,
Dan

Hello Sayeed
Looks like a pile of old note books thrown away...did it contain something written from the heart, doubt it...must be from the mind, and there seems to be some printed numbers as well...surprising the written words are still clearly visible...your pinsharp focus is excellent here...evocative one banker-bro!

Bonjour Sayeed,
this one is amazing. I saw it the day you posted it but waited for a day I'd find find the right words. I still haven't found but thought I could at least try...
nostalgia. homesickness. Wistfulness.
Man, you had all your time, tell me, why do you make us feel so imrisoned? why did you leave some space around the book? You decided to include just a part of the horizon anyway...So you could have just not show the horizon and save some space at the bottom and right? I wonder why you made those choices (and if it was on purpose?).
have a good one,
Marc
ps:I bet it's just an account book...

Hello Sayeed,
A strange photo you proposed here. The realisation is good with the choice of a very narrow deep of field but with still a good placement of the wave even if placed in the blur. We are so naturelly focusing on the subject, this destroyed book. Without the blue letters, it would have been difficult to understand what it is. This difficulty is for a part on the interest as we have to carrefully look the picture.
Yves.

Hi Sayed,
Which beautiful and sad image. Is it so that the hand-written books have to finish at the time of computers? Like a kind of jellyfish failed on the beach?
Congratulations for this very strong image but also magnificently composed and realized with a DOF which strengthens the poetry and the sadness.
Bravo!
Diane
