Photographer’s Note

Nothing very special - just a photo of many photos of sunsets which I take very often but publish very seldom. The photo was taken from the 6th floor.

(Another photo taken at a different time but from almost the same POV can be viewed here)

For a few days a very sudden and very unexpected "event" has been keeping me away from my usual TE activity :( But I can't help it... so for several more days, I guess, I will slow down for a while but will come to TE whenever possible.

I thank all my TE friends for expressing their opinion about my work! I will respond as soon as possible!

So far I feel like a squeezed lemon :(

surely not the most expressive place and outlook out in the world, but the sky and the cloud is very fashionable, good colors, nice light and a grerat capture..

have a fine day, greetings from a cold but very sunny Germany, so as here in my region seen this morning..

I really like these pictures of the sky and clouds with these colours. It is marvelous.
Ah... I liked the expression: like a squeezed lemon. sometimes I feel like this way too, during the daily life.

Well, I am not known for my overflowing fantasy...but a goose travelling south to warmer skies might be recognized hesitantly......By the way what did you see???

Hello Elena,
Not quite like that "UFO" seen over Moscow recently, but fine enough. Beautiful shades of blue and pink, and at least it's not scary.

Hi Elena,
wonderful impression of this fascinating sky and what I can see is that something (an angel maybe?) has taken you away. These clouds are very obviously trying to grab somebody.
I am looking forward to further explanations and I am looking forward to seeing you soon again!
BTW: the silhouettes of the houses and trees against the sky are really beautiful.

Hi Elena,

A little bit unexpected post from you. I guess that you might see some symbolism in the dark cloud in the sky maybe some connection to the unexpected event you mention. What I see see is bright clear sky in background and that better days will come very soon..

I imagine a huge hand which is going to grasp Moscow!
A beautiful sky at sunset is always a soothing view. When I feel depression is arriving I rise my look to the sky: as long as we can see the sky above us we can cheer our hearts.

it looks like a huge phoenix flying to the setting sun,
we can imagine lots of objects, both actual and imaginative, about this beautiful cloud and sky.
anyway it is very cheerful to see your excellent photo again,

I hope that you took again a calmer life, and that the cats are well. I understand your concern, I have myself a sick and old she-cat, 18 years. Thank you for your long and pleasant explanation.
I like the sunsets, but I seldom publish some. One in general tries to give an interpretation of the shape of the clouds, perhaps a flying ectoplasm, which could have been the title:) pleasant Good image. Cheer.

Some days we have the pleasure of seeing the most wonderful cloud formations!
By use of our imagination we can make them look like about anything we like, personally I prefer to enjoy the beauty of their own...
The silhouetted trees complete the composition nicely!

Glad you are back with us. I have been pulled away from TE also but I am back as you are. Mine was not a cat / kitten issue but just general life having a little hick up. Lovely photograph - I also see the great goose flying south. Beautiful sunset here.

PS: Our neighbour found a small cat last week and is looking for a home, but we have a cat :) also my wifes friend rang saying she found 2 small kittens abandoned outside her house so she rescued them also. Looks like it is cat rescue world wide :))
