Photographer’s Note

The village of Saint-Denis of Oléron is located in Charente-Maritime, in the north top of the island of Oléron. Around thirty kilometres separate it from the bridge which links up the island with the continent since 1966.

Saint-Denis count three big beaches of fine sand: side "continent", on both sides of the harbour, the beaches of Boirie and Soubregeon, and Atlantic side, the beach of Shacks in the handle of Seulières. The village also counts numerous beaches of rocks.

These huts have me to think of the nice time of the debuts of the sea swimming.
