Photographer’s Note
The shot is taken from Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), which is at 4130 meter above sea level. It was an early morning when we've started our trek yet again from Machapucchhare Base Camp (MBC - 3700m). Our six day trek would finally come to its heights today as we were heading towards our destination. But the clouds coupled with rains pouring all over was not supporting many of the people who were expecting to see the view from base camp. We (I along with my friend) started our journey from MBC at around 4.30 in the morning.
There were other people already started their trip, while other followed us. The sky was clean and there was no signs of clouds to begin with. The full moon ricochets its lights on the snowy mountains to make it looked like dawn all night long.
It took us around 2 hours for us to climb final 430 meters to reach ABC. We were there at about 7 in the morning. We were lucky to have clear sky as we were able to see 360 view from the base camp.
But as we were coming down the clouds started to crawling over the mountains as people in the picture wondered how long would the view exists.
The mood quickly changed into foggy one.
