Photographer’s Note
Another picture of Ostrog Monastery, from Montenegro.
It is a very special and beautiful place.
The monastery was built by St.Vasilije of Zahumlje and Herzegovina, one of the four Montenegrin saints, in the 17th century. His relics are kept in the Monaster and they are believed to have healing power.
This place impressed and inspired me, wonderful and peaceful in the same time. It worth to be visited!
Coming also some inside pictures.(of course...is forbidden the photosh.:) )

Daniel.

Hi Claudia,
Funny place to build a church with such a traditional façade.
You chose an attractive POV and the woman in front is a good extra in the composition.

Hi Claudia
Buildings within a cliff are always impressive, like the predjama castle in Slovenia or the Aescher Gasthaus in Switzerland, I might show another famous one in december, I like the composition idea with the woman but the whites on the monastery facade are overexposed
Have a nice day jY

Hi,
amazing location indeed. Seems to be very interesting.
The rocks create amazing contrast with the architecture. However the actual contrast is probably too strong -the light was apparently very intense and it seems that details of the monastery are faded out.
I am also curious how it looks like from a distance -but may be you have posted it already: I will check it.

Hi Claudia, this is an excellent POV, it tells us how large the cliffs and the monastery are. I like the use of the vertical frame here to accentuate the height. It really is amazing how they built these structures into the rockface like this. Definitely a place to put on my checklist of places to see. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week, Lisa.

Hello Claudia,
A superb and very astonishing place. A very nice shot too with a POV very well selectd. The framing, well selcetd too, give a composition very interesting. The lady and the scale on the left invite to discovery the place. Very good photowork.

Hello Claudia,
The very nicely compose shot celebrates the verticality of the site. The woman with the colorful outfit provides a critical compositional element. Indeed, every element of the photograph — composition, light management, colors, resolution — collaborate in the manner of the musical instruments of a very good orchestra. Thank you for sharing this photo. Your gallery makes Montenegro a very appealing place to visit.
