Photographer’s Note

A few days ago I was in Paris and this is my own version of the famous, famous Eiffel tower.

As you can see I wanted the reflections on the water, the blue hour and the artificial lights of the city with long exposure.

I have to say I like a lot the details, the little details of the photo: the cars and theirs lights, the carousel in the right side, the water, the buildings in the background,...
And also I have very nice memories of this place.

This is one of that places you should know and you cannot miss.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful image. I think your POV is really good. You have composed a very nice picture from this wonderful place in Paris, well exposed with very good effect of the reflections and the car lights. The colours are also very good. Wonderful evening shot Carlos. we can't call it 'blue hour' as the blue of the sky has combined with the pink of the light pollution to make a lilac sky. How about the 'lilac hour'? :D
It is an excellent and innovative shot of this famous landmark. We all recognise it despite only showing a small portion. The effect in the foreground is wonderful. I can't quite figure out how it is achieved, but the reflections are most attractive.

a good close-up and frame on the bottom of the Tower. A very sharp night shot with a good light control. The long time exposure gives a fine reflection on the Trocadero pool with the fountains in action.
Paris deserves here the nickname of City of lights.

l'efecte de la llarga exposició dóna un gran resultat a l'aigua de la font i als llums dels cotxes en moviment.
El pla tancat sobre un arc de la base de la Tour Eiffel i la perspectiva a través seu està molt ben estudiat, i la composició és elegant i atractiva, amb una llum i uns tons realment agradables de l'hora blava, i una estètics reflexes sobre l'aigua.

Genial, simplemente genial la fotografia inusual de la torre eiffel.
Eso de la larga exposición ya es para professionals, pero algun dia me gustaria probar a hacer una.

Me la añado a mis favoritas, me he estado como 10 minutos mirando todos los detalles que hay.

Hola Carlos, this is a splendid work with the famous parisian icon. Somehow it makes the tower bigger than all the times I have visited in the past. May be it has grown since January (my last visit ;-) The exposure is perfect and showing great details as you mentioned in your note. Beautiful ice texture in FG and wonderful contrast with the sky. Será la costumbre pero a mi se me va la cabeza para arriba, es como que voy a buscar la torre con la vista. La parte inferior con todos esosjuegos de luces me parece muy interesante. No se, creo que yo hubiera cortado un poco más la torre, quizás a la altura del arco.
De cualquier forma una visión original, me gusta.

C'est le genre de photo qu'on ne rencontre pas tous les jours. La longue pose a été employée à bon escient pour donner de très beaux effets sur l'eau et sur les voitures qui circulent.

Muy interesante tu version de la torre Eiffel,desde una perspectiva nueva,al menos para mí.Otra de las cosas que me encanta de esta foto es lo que señalas en tu nota,la cantidad de detalles,y obviamente la nitidez con la que se aprecia la cantidad de detalles.
Definitivamente es un sitio que no debo perderme.

Para mí, hacer fotos de monumentos famosos es difícil porque casi todo está visto ya. Quizás por eso no has querido sacar una foto de la torre entera y nos muestras sólo las patas, dado que el resto lo conocemos ya. Te ha concentrado más en las luces y reflejos de la gran ciudad, de la "Ciudad Luz", precisamente. Y explicando muy bien lo que hiciste.

Publicar una foto de uno de los monumentos mas fotografiados del mundo es algo arriesgado si uno tiene la veleidad de querer ser "original" (como se eso fuera posible... bueno, de cierta forma, lo que es imposible es no ser *siempre* original :-).
No se nada de su originalidad, no soy un especialista en fotos de la torre Eiffel, pero creo que nunca había visto este PDV y, mas importante que todo, es una imagen magnifica, tanto por la compo, como por los colores, luces increíbles.
