A picture taken yesterday one hour for sunset, I was with the bicycle, because a splendid day with much sun.
You can't miss the mill of Damme. He proudly stands high above his direct environment besides the Damse Canal. Since the beginning of the small town, there already used to be a wooden standard mill on this same spot, called the "Schellemolen". This mill was owned by the counts of Flanders; in 1267 the rights on this mill were sold to the town by countess Margareta van Constantinopel. However, half of the revenues still had to be handed over to the counts.
