Superb capture of the New York Coastline, Carlos. Did you reduce the color saturation somewhat, rendering the image somewhere between sepia and color, or are these the original colors.

Ah the Staten Island trip, a NYC favorite, great memories of this skyline but it seems it has changed quite a bit looking at your picture, ok I have to admit I haven't been to the USA since 1997... and I doubt I'll go there again for there are many more welcoming and less paranoiac countries... Brazil for instance ;-)
Good rendering despite suboptimal weather conditions.

Great shot, I love the metallic greyish colour pattern. Impressive sharpness, especially on the right. And the silver building, erect & smack dab in the middle...this works. A very good image.

Hi Carlos,
It's a beautiful capture indeed. I did not recognize NYC at first because non of the most famous buildings are in the frame. The tour in the middle is greatly photogenic with the sky reflections, echoing to the water reflections. And last but not least, I love the sepia tones. Is it due to a filter or post processing?

eu até que sou um fã da arquitectura mais tradicional, mas este set de edificios modernos não deixam seguramente ninguem indiferente, e a mim tambem não.
O que mais me impressiona ainda é este aspecto metálico que conseguiste recriar com estas tonalidades.
Tens aqui uma bela foto.

This is a very nice panorama view about the coastline and the skyscrapers as big subject.
Excellent compostion, perhaps is sky little bit dark through the shower, but absolutely not disturbing.

The dramatic sepia effect with the dark storm cloud is perfect for this view of the Financial District remembering what happened on September 11, 2001. It is a superb shot perfectly composed. Did you visit Ground Zero and see the progress being made there rebuilding?

Hi Carlos,

The skyline in the centre and the amazing light make this composition very attractive.
It almost looks like a sepia image, but with more variation in the colour-tones and that makes the picture richer.
