Photographer’s Note

Hindu devotee offering prayers at dawn in the holy city of Puri. People in my hometown of Visakhapatnam rarely pray on the beach. The way I saw him do this was to pray in each direction and then sprinkle some sea water on his head. Somehow, it was really nice to watch.

The scene and the light are great.
I think you just over increased the black.
The silouhette is too sharp compared with the rest, and it looks a bit fake.

very simple composition, good colours in the ocean agree with the other comment about the silouhette being too sharp it looks as if it has been pasted on after. good notes chris
