Photographer’s Note

"Lagoa do Fogo" (Lagoon of Fire) is a crater lake within the "Agua de Pau" volcano in the center of São Miguel Island in the Azores. This lake is the highest above sea level on São Miguel Island and it's very rare to have a clear view like in this shot because this place is always covered with clouds and a dense fog.

"I'm like a mirror! I'm nothing till you look at me!"
