Photographer’s Note
During stormy days, I sometimes prefer to shoot in B&W. This was taken in Busuanga, Palawan. It was continuously raining during that day, I had to take shelter under the trees. While waiting for the rain to stop, I conceptualized this scene and shot it after a momentary rain break.

Hi Alford,
I like it, the bridge seems never ending and the scene is well balanced with those two boats on either side of the bridge. The water is very smooth and it makes a nice contrast with the rough texture of the bridge. Black and white was a nice choice.

Hello Alford,
A poetic landscape photo brought in well contrasting grey tones well propfield against the milky surface of the water. Beautiful to look at.

Hello Alford,
The composition is very good. The black and white suits well to this picture, giving it a strong atmosphere.
Maybe you could try to erase the dark stone (I'm not sure it is a stone) on the right.

hi Alford,
a superb B&W composition with tis old wooden pier right in the middle of the picture, the boats and the mountains on the background.
the long time exposure gives a great effect to the water, nice mirror for the cloudy sky.
very well done

Hi Alford, love the details and somewhat the feel of aggressiveness (or intimidating feel?) on this composition giving it a life of its own. The central posittioning of the bridge gives this provoking touch as if tempting the viewer to walk on in and hear the squeaking sound of the seasoned plank. Have a good weekend ahead of you, Alex

Hi Alford. An absolutely excellent composition and treatment. All details are so clear that we can sense the worn-down surface of the wood. Nice B&W effect.
