Photographer’s Note
I've been once in RSA and i wish to go back one day. This photo was taken during a festival about the Zulu culture. The dance rhythm is impressive, as faces let people imagine their pride and old glory when they were facing the Boers stoling their lands. Of course, RSA counts 11 official languages and tribes. My other favorite was the Ndebele culture. So colourful one.

Hi Clemence,
You have captured a nice moment during the dance with the expression of the man in his concentration. Great use of depth of field to isolate his face in this busy scene.

Hi Clemence,
This is a gorgeous photograph, and even a masterpiece!
It breaks the rule of third in a splendid manner. The main subject is in the plain center. And this is exactly where it should be. Your way of capturing the scene is very smart. We feel part of the action. We feel like witnessing the a decisive moment. The settings of DOF is perfect as it clearly focus on his face. His expression is compelling and intriguing. Works perfectly for me!
Cheers,
Pris.
by the way, Welcome to TE!

It must be difficult to capture the rhythm of dance through portait of a dancer. But you achieved perfectly with the side portrait of man surrounded by all the blurry details... Soul of festival definitely breathes in here Clemence!
Compliments,
