Last weekend we were in a festival Pehlivankoy, Kirklareli. The Pavli Festival is very traditional for last 100 years. Portraits were amazing.

A marvellous portrait, really beautiful. Those eyes radiate an irresistible joy of life. It looks like a totally spontaneous smile, coming straight from the heart. The light is perfect, so is the background.

Pırıl pırıl gözler,cin gibi bakış, tertemiz bir gülüş

Hello Sultan,
Another wonderful portrait! To me, she looks like a carbon copy of a Czech cartoon character called the Little Witch, who is very good-natured and not so good with witch magic :-) The eyes are sure lively. Very good sharpness and work with DOF. Congratulations! Dasha

Splendid portrait..wish you had used the proportions and frame well..it has gone wrong quite honestly...

But the overall effect..the connection you made with the subject..there is a beating pulse in this one my friend

the 50mm continues to surprise me..would have loved to see some bokeh too

My Dear Sultana,
What I learnt from you is that portraits necessarily need not be of Clean, Maked-Up, faces. Any face can be a portrait.This one is just great.
