Photographer’s Note

Sankt Bartholomae is a German icon for a lot of years. Isolated at the border of the clear blue Königssee and protected by the mighty Watzmann mountainpeaks.
This photo looks like an ordenary postcard, but it is actually a rare view of this total magnificent scenery. The reason it's rare because it lies in the most wettest part of Germany: Berchtesgaden. I've been there several times, and always it was raining. And if it didn't clouds spoiled the view. But this time I got lucky. What a view!
