Photographer’s Note

Just a look on Castel del Monte, the castle Frederick II built on the hills of Apulia to celebrate himself and his imperial power.
There are many stories about this place, because of it's particular shape: an octagon, with eight octagonal towers. You can read about several and stranges hypotesis about the castle being an astronomical observatory or a garage for a spaceship.
The only real thing I could say, beyond any doubt, is that if you'll be there you'll can see one of the most beautiful places and buildings you can even image. A wonderful armony of light stone, proudly looking on green fields under a blue blue sky.
Try and believe!
