Hi Doug, this photo just jumped out of the thumbnail at me. The effect of the wide-angle lens is so dramatic, accentuating beautifully the old dried long and the grandeur of these mountains. Great DOF, colour and light management (particularly in the BG on the rockface). I like it alot, TFS, Lisa.

Hi,
Yes, indeed is like in a mirror. No wave, nothing, just a mirror :) I like a lot the light and the colors. Good composition.
Best regards ;)

Helloo Doug,
superb! I'm not over entusiastic normally about HDR but this proves that we should always keep an open mind about various photography techniques. This is so immediate that I feel I am over the water with you.

I think 2 stops apart would have helped more because the contrasts can be very nasty at this lake, as they can be at Lake O`Hara.
This is the reason the sky had to suffer a bit more pp, I think.
The composition is very good,though.
Cheers:)
