Photographer’s Note

Pushkar is the Paradise of photographers. But strangely people there don’t like to be photographed, specially the old people. May be they get fed up of it or their culture don’t allow this. This particular vegetable seller, just hates to be photographed. If you try she will cover her face by hand. If you still try to shoot, she keeps a stick with her. believe me, she actually use it.
But I was a bit lucky. I was sitting on a stool across the road waiting for the right moment. I knew I will get only one chance. Then she had an argument with a customer and I had that. Hope you like it.

Hello Push,

I understand that some people do not like being photographed.
Sometimes it is cultural, as in Morocco, but we must respect.
That's why sometimes I make pictures that I call : stolen pictures
