Photographer’s Note
I crossed the broder between Vietnam and Cambodia by boat. When in Chau Doc in Vietnam, you board a boat and you cross the Bassac River to reach the customs.
Then, the boat went along the Bassac River up to Phnom Penh.
On the way to the capital city of Cambodia, it was nice to see the rural side of Cambodia. All the people we saw on the banks of the river were happy, waiving at us, fishing with a huge smile on, eager to show off by jumping into the river while.
In the workshop, you can see a sequence of 4 pictures showing what happened when I passed by those boys.

On a side note, I would just like to share with you that life has been good enough with me by giving me the sweetest little daughter I could hope for. She was born last thursday and seems perfectly healthy. She fills us with joy.
Peace
Marc

Allo Marc!

Marc...hey..how's the little one doing..she's keeping you up all night eh ?..now its your turn really..
keeping you away from the site..
this one..i would really concentrate on the frame that includes the playing kids only..and what would interest me most is the one about to make the dive..the unusual head bend..and position of the body..maybe go for a slower shutter and crank it up to f13..since the other seems posing and the tiny one is not even interested..the blur on the diving boy...could it be successfully achieved...???
what could you do..you were really far from the action here..at 300..it still seems miles away..but the lens has thrown up good results..you would need a 500 to crack this..but you wouldnt be shooting people..be in some jungle in the amazon..or at a soccer game..or better still the french open :))
i replied to your comments earlier..did you get them..
waiting for you to show up brother...

HI Marc!
I did the tour by boat vice versa and saw many nice scenes like this one.
You had a good timing here and I like the smiling boys, the dynamic pose of the jumping one and the nice rural background with these cows.Great shot!!!
