**Glacier des Bossons is one of the glaciers found in the Chamonix valley of south-eastern France. the Glacier des Bossons is one of the very few glaciers in the world which drop below the tree line. Between 1600-1610, the Bossons glacier advanced markedly towards the valley floor, Around 1784, the glacier begins to retreat, at the rate of 200-300 meters horizontally a year.The glaciers make a new forward charge around 1815. In 1818, the Bossons glacier expands, reaching again into the cultivated fields and forests, In 1818, the Bossons glacier is 590 meters beyond its 1911 level, and 1200 meters beyond its 1952 limit. Beginning in 1861, the alpine glaciers begin a long recession, stimulated by a series of warm spring and summer seasons. The degree of this recession is remarkable; for the first time in 300 years, a point of no return is reached and quickly passed. The expansion of 1850-55 marks the end of a small ice age.From 1874, the glacier slowly retreats to a level 682 meters above its farthest descent. This retraction is not only noticeable in the glaciers length, but also by its depth. The loss of depth for this same period is nearly 100 meters (from World Glacier Monitoring Service)

Hİ Ecmel;
very nice mix of colors and lines. The light is soft and very interesting. I liked your framing , the compo has an abstract mood

Hi Ecmel
Despite the harch light of the glacier, you got a very good picture especially due to the stunning light on the trees on the FG.
Cheers

Renkler ve ışık çok güzel.
Belki yansımalar daha fazla görünse çok daha iyi olabilirdi.
Eline sağlık. Uğur
