Photographer’s Note
This grove of Monterey Cyprus trees was planted for windbreaks by local ranchers and farmers about the time of World War I. It is situated on a bluff in the James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, on the outskirts of Moss Beach, a coastal town about 30 km south of San Francisco.

Hummm... you are improving day after day!
Very fine photo and composition. This boulevard of cypresses is really a marvel and you managed well the exposure obtaining fine details and textures. Very good DOF and sense of distance and a well set focal point. I like very much the atmosphere and the sense of intense reality it conveys.
Best compliments,

Hello William,
Intriguing Cypress tunnel, varying light shades of grey, and a spot of red, with a pathway leading the eye into the distance.
Good job,
Ray
....and now I will have to look for this place on one of my favorite coastal areas, Monterey Bay.

Hi William,
Your very graphic composition is well framed showing the path through the trees and the walker with the red shirt adding a great focal point. The angle of the trees attests to the need for a windbreak. Interesting to know that the grove dates to the early 1900's
