Photographer’s Note

St Lucia is a little picturesque village in the central part of Gran Canaria, located in the mountains and surrounded by palm trees. This beautiful place with typical Canarian houses spreads on the 680 m right on the top of the volcano Caldera de Tirajana.. We spent there some time charmed by peaceful narrow lanes and whitewashed buildings. It might have been siesta time, when I took this photo, because the street was absolutely empty and I could not help being a bit overwhelmed by this little village’s serenity.

la déformation et le tilt extrèmes font ici le charme et le dynamisme de la photo. Les couleurs fortes et les lumières parfaites viennent couronner le tout.

Good work with the composition and perspective, maybe the dark areas are too dark, but the whole photo looks nice.
