festooned with shoes, boots and other footwears of travellers using this section of historic route 66
as it cuts across the mojave desert, i thought Imelda might have been to this place as well! this tamarisk tree is the only interesting sight i came across in this deserted town of Amboy, California.
has Imelda for sure "donated" some shoe pairs from her collections here?.......i wonder!

A funny shot, one should always carry a spare pair of shoes when passing by this tree then ;o)
