Photographer’s Note
Certain buildings capture my imagination, and I immediately liked the IAC Office building the first time I saw it.
It is one of the latest creations by famed architect Frank Gehry, completed in 2007 in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. This deconstructivist-style building is made of zinc and glass. All of the supporting columns are tilted and slope in different directions, creating a very futuristic look.
This view was captured from nearby Highline Park, another new addition to the city. In the WS you can see a full view of the building.

Hi Brenda,
This is a clever juxtaposition — the ephemeral flowers and the modern building. The truth is, however, the leaning plains remind me of a house of cards, where you have to lean them into each other to provide support to the upper stories. I like the contrast of the flowers and the building.
Warm regards,
Bulent

hi Brenda
i like this shot, the POV is nice and as Bulent said it shows a nice contrast of nature and architecture.
I like the framing and the blue "lines" across the building make the image more appealing

Hi Brenda,
Excellent composition and good POV. I agreed with Bulent comments. It does remind me of a house of playing cards. Good idea to show the branches in the foreground.

Hi Brenda
You gotta love Frank Gehry's work. He really panders to the photgrapher when he designs a building. It looks very surreal which is made even more so by your chosed POV and the use of these flowers in the FG. Nicely done.

Hi Brenda,
Josep
