Photographer’s Note

Visiting a friend at Ulm, I had the chance to visit the Spring, Blautopf at Blaubeuren.
This is a natural Spring running all round the year connected underground by 100 mile shaft all the way up to the black forest or schwarz wald. What ticks for me is the way the ambiance is maintained with the age old structures intact and never too "Touristy"!

No, no, this photo was taken in Blaubeuren, not in Ulm ;-))
A wonderful atmospheric photo with well saturated colours. It's a really somehow mystic place - and very beautiful. These algae in the water are a lovely detail here. Please look HERE.

This is a nicely composed shot of this mill. The angle of the shot is great giving the scene nice depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness. The vertical format is perfect for this scene.

Superb clarity on this shot, while the color is really rich and dark in tone but there is great details, perfect sharpness, beautiful composition. Yes nature is powerful and beautiful too.
