Photographer’s Note
Cedar Breaks NM
A different view of Cedar Breaks. The monument is actually the formations in the distance. The closer rock to the bottom and left is actually part of the Twisted Forest which, while a wilderness area, is not part of the national monument. At least not yet. There is some movement to include this in the monument and change the monument to a park. I'm not sure if I like this or not. Southern Utah is becoming so popular there are getting fewer places you can go without the crowds. This is one of the last places and I'm afraid that making it part of a park will increase the popularity of the area. So, I thought I'd better get a photo or two while I still could.

Hello Allan,
This view is excellent. The landscape in this area is quite interesting as there is a nice contrast of orange tones and greens. The storm add a bit of a dramatic effect to this wild place. Thanks Allan :-)
