The 3-mile trail winds around this lovely pond which holds rainbow trout and landlocked salmon.

A blue hour with the sunshine!?
A lovely place shown from a good low pov so to give a great sense of depth thanks to those stones in the fg too. I like the clarity and the fine contrast between the lit part at the right with the shadowed one. The hills reflected on the water add a special charm.
(It would have been smart to set your kayak in te fg to the left...)

Tom,
I like your low POV here with the shadowed stones in the foreground. The lighting helps lead the eye through the shot. The reflection is great and adds depth and balance for the scene.

Well, Tom, I was passing through, as I often must do these days, and I had to sign in and comment on this. Lovely timing and execution in this light and shadows environment. The colors are deep and rich, the illumination inviting, and the whole composition -- with the varied background and foreground, the low shooting angle, and the lines of the rocks in the water and the curves of the hills -- all of it just makes you want to go there. Well done!

The rocks in front is a fine element in this pleasant view!
I notice the rich colours, as usual in diminishing sunlight...
Interesting to hear about the salmon, how long do they survive as they don't eat in fresh water?
