This is a panoramic picture taken from inside the Runkuraqay ruin on the 3rd day of a 4 day trek on the Inka Trail in Peru. The view is looking towards the cliff.
This ruin is located at an altitude of 3,750 metres (12,300 ft) on km 24.

This ruin is a small circular building, originally discovered by Hiram Bingham while searching out the entrance routes to Machu Picchu. Possibly a fortress, put perhaps more likely a resting place for travelers along the Inca Trail.

The two doors, one on the left, and one on the right, were access to lodging rooms. The front point of view was a lookout point.
