Photographer’s Note
Belt of Venus is the Victorian era name for an atmospheric phenomenon seen at sunrise and sunset. Shortly after sunset or shortly before sunrise the observer is, or is very nearly, surrounded by a pinkish glow or antitwilight arch that extends roughly 10°–20° above the horizon. (ref. Wikipedia).
Lake Sacomie : "History of the name Sacacomie
According to Bernard Assiniwi’s lexicon of Indian names in Canada, the name SACACOMIE, the Algonquin SAGHACKHOMI and the Abenaquis SAJAKHIMEN, would come from the plant LE BLEUETTIER or the resembling shrubs bordering the lakes from northern Quebec and Ontario.
The popular language has a saying: "Being all wet from walking in the sacacomie." ref.

Hello Yan,
Nice to see one of your rare postings!
And what a pleasant one, the atmosphere is fabulous as the evening is drawn with pastel colours contrasting the dark silhouettes...
And a lovely landscape it is..!
Greetings,
Pablo -
