Photographer’s Note
Sunset has its own melancholy magic .. be it anywhere in the world. Being a public health specialist my postings are essentially in rural setups. Presently I am posted in a small place called Chandipur, which falls under the Uluberia Sub-division in the Howrah district of WestBengal, India.
The Damodar river flows lazily by Chandipur. This shot was taken from a smashan or burning ghat (a hindu cremetory ground) by the banks of the river in the sundown hours after completing my day's work in office.
