Photographer’s Note

A view of the Fuji-san from the panoramic spot o Nihondaira. Not perfect weather but playing with contrast helped to pull out the white cone. A bit above diffraction limit to get as much DOF as possible.

Great composition. I perhaps would have appreciated a little bit more sharp on the fuji. Anyway, very pleasant.

Hello Marko,
I like the blossoms on the left side of the frame. The tree and flowers being more dominant in color than Mt. Fuji actually make the scene a bit more like a Japanese painting in my eyes. I like the pastel blue color and the softness of the cone.
