Effectivement, avec un brouillard pareil, le repérage s'impose. Encore un belle image de cette compétition dans la lignée de la précédente mais en couleur. Très western le monsieur, du moins le haut !!! Joli coup d'oeil Didier.

Etrange ambiance qui, sans le numéro, pourrait presque nous faire penser qu'il s'agit d'une photographie ancienne. Le noir et blanc est approprié ici car il accentue cette impression.

Le theme ou nous partageons les emotions. Le contraste en n/b est effectif. Le moment de reaction me semble bien choisi (la position des mains des deux et la position du fouet). Le brouillard est la pour dramatiser le sujet. Belle imafe mon cher ami,

This must be the same event with your "moustache" photograph. So it is or not, this is looks like coming from an mgm movie... I like the view of thick fog, surrounding the carriage and the rider. Well seen, well composed, Didier.

The fog gives a nice atmosphere,Didier, and the black and white gives it a agreeable retro feeling. It could be an old image from the wild west. You have chosen a good PoV and framed the image for maximum impact. Regards Kevin

Hello Didier,

I'm not quite sure what is going on here, but the scene no doubt has interesting elements!
The composition has an outstanding depth, as the figures appear almost like 3D seen on the foggy background...
A balanced composition with sharp details in the subject(s)..!

This is marvellous indeed, not only the ay you composed, but the conversion to bw as well, which suits the mood created by the fog, which creates a fine semi opaque curtain in the BG. Wonderful!

Cinematic..

simple yet to striking didier..i feel you needed to be closer since there is not much around..stronger emphasis on the two main elements would have worked strongly..thats an amazing lens you are using and you could crank up the focal length..perhaps the light wasnt enough and you couldnt get 1/200 at least..or maybe shoot less than 1/60 and get some motion blurr..

Could be more cinematic...who knows..

i enjoyed it..thats what matters..

Superb photo! I think that the combination of fog, B&W and the situation (card, suited up man in the hats) is a winning one and it makes it such a nostalgic shot!
