Photographer’s Note
The Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) is a medieval arched bridge over the River Arno in Florence, Italy, famous for a number of shops (mainly jewelers and jewelry stores) over the entire board.
Is believed to have been built even in ancient Rome and was originally made of wood. It was destroyed by the floods in 1333 and rebuilt in 1345, with project designed by Taddeo Gaddi. It consists of three arches, the largest of them 30 meters in diameter. All time home stores and merchants, which showed the goods on stands, always with the authorization of the Bargello, the local authority then.
