Photographer’s Note
Trafalgar square in London was packed with people, as it always is, I loved the fountain and water cascading down and the colour of the water. Then here was this lady sat on the edge deep in thought, I think it makes a nice little composition. No she is not a member of my family.

Hello, Mike.
This is indeed a very nice composition.
She does look deep in thought. The lighting is lovely and serene and you have placed her perfectly in the frame. The sharp corner of the stonework in the foreground is placed perfectly to conform with the "rule of thirds" and the water and spray from the fountain beautifully softens the background.
Is she just waiting for a friend, is she deep in thought about some theoretical problem or has she been jilted by a lover? Who knows?
Excellent!
Best Wishes,
John.

Melancholic but warm (in climate, not colors) I like it.
Greeting
