Nkhata Bay is the capital of the Nkhata Bay District in Malawi. It is on the shore of Lake Malawi (formerly Lake Nyasa), east of Mzuzu, and is one of the main ports on Lake Malawi The population of Nkhata Bay is estimated to be 14,722 as of 2008. Nkhata Bay is 413 kilometres from Lilongwe, Malawi’s capital city, and 576 kilometres from Blantyre, Malawi’s largest city. Nkhata Bay is the second "busiest resort" on Lake Malawi.(from Wikipedia)

Hi Jan, I really like this pic. The B&W and the blurry background gives a nice effect. Can only wonder what the little kid with the plastic container and cardboard is up to..

Hi Jan,
you have captured the anguish on the boys face, showing the hardships he obviously endures on a daily basis. the use of B&W elevates the passion within the shot. the DOF is spot on concentrating the viewer to the main purpose for the shot, namely the boy.
