Photographer’s Note

My first day after arrival in Kołobrzeg (German - KOLBERG) which is a city in Middle Pomerania in north-western Poland with about 50,000 inhabitants.

Kołobrzeg is located on the Parsęta River on the south coast of the Baltic Sea (in the middle of the section divided by the Oder and Vistula Rivers).
Kołobrzeg today is a popular tourist destination for both Poles and the Germans. It provides a unique combination of a seaside resort, health resort, an old town full of historic monuments and tourist entertainment options (e.g. numerous "beer gardens").

For 200 years Kolobrzeg is known as a spa-resort. For the bathers and tourists the gratest attraction is the seaside location with its specific microclimate known for its healing properties and beautiful 6km long sandy beach and sea-bathing area. The north part of Kolobrzeg stretches out along the coast is the spa district in which the resort-houses are located and the spas use modern equipment, brine and mud therapy.

Świetnie to uchwyciłaś :) Sylwetki ludzi ładnie kontrastują z kolorkami zachodzącego słońca. Nawet ptaki się załapały na fotkę :) Bardzo ładna i dopracowana kompozycja.

I takie fotografie zachodów słońca lubię. Bo słońce stanowi tu tylko tło dla reszty. Nie jest nudno.

Nie lubię tego typu zdjęć, ale parka ożywia atmosferę i to mi się podoba. Byłoby lepiej, gyby sylwetka dziewczyny zakrywała słońce, ale mówi się trudno.

Hi Gosia,
The inclusion of two persons and this barrier (?) makes this picture a lot better than most sunset pictures here on TE. The silhouettes against the sun are very fine all the waves on the water surface give attractive reflections.

hello Gosia,
I quite like this, especially the emphasis on horizontal lines that always make the image more serene, more tranquil. there's something cinematographic in this shot, although I keep thinking that a moment before or after - the sun either more visible or entirely behind the silhouette of the girl - might look better, it feels a little random right now. still, interesting photo.

Witaj, Jaki romantyczny sansecik z Kolobrzegu. Fajne kolorki, mewy klołyszą się na falach, mily nastrój. Dzis tu na Lanzarote tez był deszcz!! To znaczy padalo ledwie ledwie, drobniutkie kropelki, ale tu podobno kiedys bylo 12 lat bez deszczu.

What a beautiful sunset photo. With the sun almost gone that results in a beautiul colored sky.
I like your composition with the two wave breakers imaginary meeting somewhere in the baltic sea due to your angle in the photo.
The couple is strategically placed in this photo, their position makes them more like silhouettes to cover the sun.
