Batad is another municipality of Ifugao with best-kept man-made wonder. The terraces is just located in single mountain side that is perfectly hand-made by indigenous people for the past 2,000 years. Beneath the mountain is a waterfalls.

Going to Batad, you may take a jeepney from the heart of Banaue, the road is rough and cliff is high.. it's really an adventure. In two hours you will reach the dead end...then another hr, this time you have to walk. You can stay there overnight, there are a lot of friendly local folks there offer a very cheap room - for as low as PhP200.

A lot of people say that Batad is the most unforgettable terrace wonder in Ifugao... maybe because of the experience.
