Classified as historical monument by government decree, the church of Ste-Famille (Holy Family) on Île d'Orléans near Québec City was built on a 4 years period, from 1743 to 1747. One of the 6 parishes of this island, Ste-Famille has one of the most important concentrations of houses dating back to the french regime (before 1760) Workshop shows a photo of the inside.

Hello Pierre,

This province has a large quantity of beautiful buildings. The churches in Quebec are precious with their French architecture. Good perspective of this church showing this almost newly painted roof. The contrast of colours and details are excellent. Nice work Pierre :-)

Bonjour Pierre ,
Un édifice imposant , et qui attire immanquablement le regard , avec son beau toit rouge . Il y a un peu de déformation , mais ce n'est pas gênant . Superbe netteté .

Bonjour Pierre,

Les arbres, les fleurs et le cimetière cadrent bien l'église. La prise de vue permet de distinguer les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de l'église Sainte-Famille. Il y a un bon contraste entre la couleur bleu du ciel et le toit rouge de l'église. Bon dimanche.

This is a great Papagolfade for this Sunday morning. Your composition is great showing the church from an angle that gives the scene depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The bright red roof is contrasted nicely by the deep blue sky.
