Photographer’s Note
Half a day's drive out of Yushu, in front of a remote temple a group of old ladies deep in prayer.
Had some difficulty to desaturate the background around the hair. All help welcome.

This is a nice, warm, human portrait Warren. You have a fine subject caught in a lovely mood. Yes, the background is a bit messy. I always prefer to take care of these things in the exposure (i.e. DoF) rather than in pp, but if it has to be pp, then, layers are easier to use. That is making the changes on a separate layer and cut through. (Incidentally; Do Buddhists pray, as a Buddhist, I don't think we do, because we do not have a divine being to pray too. Meditation is 'mindfulness' that is watching our own minds, not trying to communicate with a higher one). Anyway, it a trivial point. And I like your picture.
