Photographer’s Note
A picture of one of the bigger stores in Tappita, Liberia. This is typical of stores in the larger upcountry towns. They carry basic supplies people may want and can sometimes get supplies that are not available in town.
Tappita is a major town in Nimba County of Liberia. I was in the store to buy rice, soap, and oil for an old friend of mine. They had electricity from a generator so I was also able to get a cold Coca Cola.
